Tree Planted

On Coronation Volunteering Day

00:00 / 01:04

Celebrating Coronation Volunteer Day with some of out team.

On Monday 8th May we planted an apple tree in our Radio Station garden. Donated by the Woodland Trust, it will be looked after by volunteers with learning difficulties who are building composting and plant-growing areas, and showing other young volunteers how to grow, then cook vegetables. Representeing King Charles' respect for environment and nature.

Tree planted, followed by cake and Prosecco! Station Manager, Shirley Ludford planted the tree also as a Deputy Lieutenant of Wiltshire.
