Swindon Mayor

Councillor Imtyiaz Sheikh has been the first Goan Indian Mayor of Swindon. Having spent a very busy year visiting and supporting local community Organisations and representing the town, his Mayoral year comes to an end this month.

He came in to SWINDON 105.5 for a live hour and reflect on his time in office, with Shirley Ludford and Matt Newman. He says "Thank yo to SWINDON 105,5 and all the support you provide to our community and to me over the year". Cllr Sheikh will host a new regular Business meeting, with Awards at the Council Chamber on 9th May with dedicated Appreciation Awards.....
