Pride Of Swindon

The Pride of Swindon Awards, launched in 2008 with SWINDON 105.5 annually recognise those who deliver special or long-term service, carry out special deeds, inspire others, support communities.... and the diversityof stories is always inspiring. Over 140 nominations received for 2026.

The names of the Award recipients are engraved onto a plaque and displaye at the town's Central Library. The lates unveling carried out by Swindon Mayor Cllr Hopkins at a presentation led by SWINDON 105.5 Manager Shirley Ludford, alongside co-organiser Pam Webb.

Nominations for Awards for 2027 open on 1st February - and an additional category of Under 18s will be added to Adults and Teams for the first time.
