Steve has an inspiring story. Like so many young people who have been told by teachers that they have no talent or won't succeed, Steve loved his art - and it was not until a health condition enabled him and encouraged him to take up his Art again.
He is now planning, with a colleague, to open a new Arts venue for young, aspiring and established artists.

Studio BRUT opens on Saturday, 15 August, at Arclite House, Peatmoor, offering not only a working artists’ studio and exhibition space but also a hub for self-taught creatives across Swindon and Wiltshire.
Founded by local artists Harrie Dearing and SLART, the project has grown from a simple idea: if the traditional art world doesn’t always make room for self-taught artists, create a place that does.
