Swindon Town scored a stoppage time winner in their League Two clash with Mansfield.

The visitors had been unbeaten before the end of play but a 93rd minute goal from Swindon’s Jake Young secured three much needed points for Swindon following an eight-game winless run in all competitions including that 7-4 defeat to National League Aldershot Town in the FA Cup.

It takes Swindon up to tenth in League Two on twenty-seven points.

Swindon Supermarine secured their second league win of the season with a 3-2 home win against Hayes & Yeading United. It’s clubs third win overall and the third win since Stuart Fleetwood took over as club manager.

Goals from Marine’s Levi Irivng on the 8th minute gave the home team the lead, then a first half stoppage time equaliser from Hayes & Yeading made it 1-1 at Half time.

Two goals for Marine’s David Simms-Burgess on the fifty seconds and eighty fifth minute respectively put Supermarine 3-1 up with five minutes to go.

Stoppage time was dramatic as the Hayes & Yeading physio was sent to the stands by the referee and unfortunately an own goal late in second half stoppage time for Jake Andrews gave Hayes & Yeading their second goal.

That win take Marine to eleven points but still second bottom in the league above Didcot.

In the Hellenic League Premier Division

Starting at Highworth Town they drew 2-2 with Gloucestershire’s Lydney Town.

Highworth lead in this one in the seventh minutes a Tom Griffiths effort on the edge of the box beating the goalkeeper.

A quick equaliser after the second half kick for Lydney followed by a sixty second minute goal gave them a 2-1 lead over Highworth.

A 95th minute equaliser for Josh Davis securing a point for Highworth.

Staying in the Hellenic League Premier Division for Royal Wootton Bassett Town and their away game with Herefordshire’s Westfields.

Bassett started the match by having to change their line up as one player travelled to Woking based Westfield fc and not Westfields fc.

Once the game got underway things didn’t start well for Bassett after conceding from the penalty spot in the 8th minute.

A corner converted by Tommy Ouldridge into an equaliser for Bassett in the 28th minute and finally a late and dramatic winner for Royal Wooton Bassett a glancing header from Alan Griffin in second half stoppage time secured the win for Bassett.
