00:00 / 01:04

Station volunteer Nick, who is autistic and has learning difficulties relied on his bike to be able to get about and to volunteer. On Friday 17th February the chain and lock were cut through and the bike stolen from Swindon town centre.

Crowd funding to help him get another bike, and a crowdfunding page has been set up. With a target of £500.

Nick is currently running a project to build and develop a long wooden troughs to fill with soil and compost and grow vegetables, then we will teach young autistic volunteers to grow vegetables - and then bring in a chef to show how to cook vegetables, developing a key skill.
