Care and Home and Nina's Law


As concern continues to grow over the future of care for individuals at home and for disabled patients in hospitals, individuals are taking action, trough presentations to Parliament, appeals, petitions, and updates on SWINDON 105.5.
Nina lives with progressive MS is asking for a policy change to allow Carers to continue visiting those in hospital, alleviating pressure on NHS nursing staff. Changing contracts for Care Agencies to enable home care visits to include specific visits to people with disabilities who need to spend some time in hospital. Nina says "If Carers were allowed to continue their services in hospital premises,As cthousands of pounds could be saved and redirected to other vital patient services, alleviating presure of nursing staff, ensuirng patients receive the care needed without interruption".
