Mindfulness for Parents and Carers, A 9 week online course is being offered by Susie Stead, an Oxford-based mindfulness teacher certified by the Oxford Mindfulness Centre, with classes adapted from the book 'Finding peace in a Frantic World' by Mark Williams and Danny Penman. Monday 15th November - Monday 6th December, Swindon Christmas Toy Appeal
Run by churches across Swindon, the Swindon Christmas Toy Appeal begins on Monday 15th November, and runs until Monday 6th December. Churches, businesses, schools, and organisations will be accepting donations of new toys for children aged 0-16, and a financial donation point has been set up on the website, which raised over £10k last year for those in need. In aid of the restoration of the Wilts and Berks Canal, a pub quiz is being held at the Manor on Cheney Manor Road, Swindon, on Thursday 25th November at 7PM. December 2nd-31st, Enchanted Gardens Light Trail
Swindon Town Gardens will host the Enchanted Gardens Light Trail, designed by Light Art Pioneers and Luminism, and supported by the South Swindon Parish Council. The event will run for almost a month and follows a 1.5km path through Swindon Town Gardens, featuring a piece made by local Swindon schools titled "Reflections of Swindon". The tours will run from 5PM-9PM Sunday to Thursday, and until 10PM Friday and Saturday. The Trail will be closed on Christmas and Boxing Day. Friday 3rd December, Chiseldon Christmas Concert. Held at Holy Cross Church, Chiseldon, the 25th annual Chiseldon Christmas Concert will be performed by the Aldbourne Band, starting at 7:45PM. Tickets are £10 per adult and free for under 16's.

December 5th, Santa vs Rudolph Run
In support of Brighter Futures and Wiltshire Air Ambulance, the Rotary Club of Swindon Phoenix is hosting a fun run at Lydiard Park on Sunday 5th December, with lengths of 3K, 5K, and 10K.
