Public opinion on plans to axe school transport funding for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) is now sought.
Currently, the council spends around £3.4 million annually on transport for approximately 900 SEND young people.
The council is not required to provide transport for those aged 16 to 18 and receives no government funding for this.
The council is asking parents, carers and guardians of those who have applied for home-to-school travel support for feedback on the consultation.
Everyone is welcome to respond to the consultation, which can be found here: Deadline to comment is 30TH MARCH.
