“Many people have remembered the hospital workers during the current situation but not many have remembered our Police Service” say members of the Nepalese Association of Wiltshire (NAW).

One member says “ We very much value the dedicated support shown by Officers, especially at this time, when risks to personal safety are high. We have prepared Meals and taken them to Gablecross Police Station to show the appreciation of the Nepalese Community for the hard work they do to keep us all safe. This is a token of our thanks”.

Most of members of the NAW have served in HM Forces and have a great deal of empathy with serving to protect the wider community and are proud to be proactive members of their local communities.

The initiative was achieved with support of the Diwali Restaurant, Momo King Restaurant, Cavendish Grocery Store and Yak, the Himalayan Kitchen.
