Chris wins Bronze in the 2024 Paris Olympics

Swindon Para Olympian Chris Junt Skelley, MBE, crowned European Champion, represented Great Britain at the Paris Paralympics in a new weight-category for Judo. World Number 1 & Paralympic Champion Judoka Chris was born in Hull, where he was a keen sportsman and rugby player until the age of 17, when his eyesight began to deteriorate.

Chris won two World Championship bronze medals.

For five years he has won Silver Medals at the IBSA World Cup events, and ranked world number 1 in the 100kg category.

He won gold at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo.

In August he took silver at the inaugural European Para Championships in Rotterdam and is still ranked World Number 1.
