Marlborough's First Female Town Crier

Emma has been a dedicated emergency service Officer for many years. And remains so.

But

She took a recent challenge - to Shout to become Marlborough's newest Town Crier - and the first ever female to hold the role, since the role was introduced in the town in the 1700s.

Winning the competition, she attended her first public event at Marlborough Town Hall as local entrepreneur Robert Hiscock received and Honorary Award for his long contributions to Marlborough Community and Business life.
